Press Release Regarding the Visit of H.E. Paolo Gentiloni, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy to Turkey

H.E. Paolo Gentiloni, Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy will pay a visit to Turkey between 6-7 October 2016. The
visit of Minister Gentiloni is a concrete indicator of the solidarity that the Government of Italy has displayed for Turkey in the aftermath of the
failed coup attempt on 15 July 2016.
Minister Gentiloni will meet with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and will also hold high level contacts. Furthermore, he
will visit the Grand National Assembly building, severely damaged during the failed coup attempt.
During the meetings the sides will exchange views on regional issues, as well as bilateral relations.
