Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs will represent H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the inauguration ceremony of the elected President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, to be held in Skopje on 12 May 2019.

On the other hand, the political consultations between Turkey and North Macedonia will be held by Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs and Viktor Dimovski, State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, in Skopje on 13 May 2019.

During the consultations, bilateral relations, regional developments and EU processes of both countries as well as cooperation in the international organizations will be discussed.
