The political consultations between Turkey and France will be held under the co-chairmanship of Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs and Ambassador Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, Secretary General of Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, in Paris on 22 May 2019.

During the consultations, bilateral relations, Turkey’s EU accession process and regional developments will be discussed.

In the framework of his visit to Paris, Deputy Minister Kaymakcı will meet the presidents and members of the Committees for European Affairs of the French Senate and National Assembly as well as the Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces of the Senate.

Deputy Minister Kaymakcı will also meet the representatives of the French Business Confederation (MEDEF) and the Turkish community, which constitutes one of the most important dimensions of our relations with France.
